TiVo App Update: 2.43 Now Available

Attached are new features and updates that we have added to your exciting GTV Streaming Platform:

Multi-Select Filters

  • Users can now select multiple sports genres by toggling each option ON (checked) or OFF.
  • Selecting a sports genre will display the corresponding sports leagues, which can also be Multi-Selected to further refine results.

 

Selection Retention

  • The app will retain users’ filter selections locally, ensuring preferences are preserved for future sessions.

 

Filter Defaults and Reset Behavior

  • All filters are set to “All” by default, with no selections applied.
  • Selecting “All” at any time will clear all active filters and reset the results to the default view.

Filter-Selection Behavior

  • A hierarchical sports selection experience, allowing users to choose genres first and then refine interests by selecting specific leagues.

  • Users can toggle a selection again to deselect it and remove the applied filter.

No Call to actions

  • Non-actionable items no longer display a call-to-action button. Instead, a thin focus indicator appears to show focus without implying interactivity.

Customized CTA button label text

  • Added support for customizable call-to-action button text.

More Info to QR code

  • Added support for displaying a QR code overlay when users click More info.

Add “Delete All” Option in Deleted Folder

  • Support “Permanently Delete All” function in the deleted page, so user can one click to remove all the deleted items.

Do not Included “Deleted” items in quota

  • The recording quota does not include deleted items. Once a user deletes recordings, the quota is updated to reflect the removal of those items.

This will be final App Update until New TiVo Unity Platform rolling out in lat 2026. Get Excited!

  • TMIS version 2.43 will be the final supported build.

    When a user’s device upgrades to the new Unity build, any other clients that are still running version 2.43 will display a key message informing and educating users about the need to upgrade.

    To remain in sync with the new Unity build and avoid potential errors, the application will also restrictaccess to certain features for users who are still on version 2.43 until they complete the upgrade.

Important Upgrade Notice

  • If any device within your environment upgrades to the Unity build, other devices that are still running TMIS v2.43 will display an in-app overlay.
  • This message is intended to inform and guide users to upgrade to the Unity build as soon as possible.
