Gearheart Security Technician

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer’s location, reviewing electrical and building requirements and suggesting the system that will best meet the need. This can include digital, electrical and radio-frequency security monitoring devices and solutions, as well as placement and required connections of the systems and devices.
  • Install the security product. This may involve ordering parts, equipment, software and devices. Test the equipment to ensure functionality and demonstrate proper usage for the customer.
  • Diagnose and repair security system malfunctions. This may include replacing parts, devices, and software, as well as diagnosing possible electrical problems.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Trained to install and program any type of security system. Able to do remote programming on security panels. Able to service and install security cameras and recorders. Capable to handle service telephone calls.  Familiar with software to add, remove, or other changes to customers’ accounts. Capable to train new employees.

Requirements

  • Clear motor vehicle record

Compensation
